Updraft, Inc.

Founded in 2003, Updraft, Inc. was a nonprofit arts organization whose mission was to strengthen communities and their members through the arts. For 9 years Updraft paired conscious art-making with a commitment to a joyful process and aesthetic. Updraft created and presented professional aerial dance theater reflecting vital themes in the lives of individuals and communities. Additionally, Updraft worked in conjunction with communities and community organizations to create informational materials regarding critical social and environmental justice issues.
